It is not difficult to replace the stock front forks by ones from a Honda CBR600F1 because the width is the same. Just take the old ones out and slide in the new ones. Attach:cbr600f1_forks_1.jpg

You'll notice the left brake caliper is not aligned properly anymore. This can be solved by placing rings beween the rim and the rotor: Attach:cbr600f1_forks_2.jpg

With some tooling you can use the original GS500 fender: Attach:spatbord.jpg

You'll probably need to buy longer brakelines. It depends on the width and height of your steer. I needed lines of +/-90cm and +/-100mm
